The World’s Largest…

The last weekend R, D, & L were here, the girls had an afternoon of pampering. I had bought some groupons for a Moroccan bath, manicure, pedicure, and facial combo. It took close to 4 hours to get all three of us through the regimen, but it was nice and relaxing.

That Saturday, we took a day trip to Dubai so that L could go up the Burj Khalifa and experience a little bit of Dubai.  Since the rest of us had already been up in the Burj Khalifa, just Paul went with L. Unfortunately it was a little hazy that day, but I still think L enjoyed the experience.

While Paul and L were up top, R, D, & I wandered outside to watch the dancing fountains (like the ones in front of the Bellagio)

The rest of the day we walked around the massive Dubai mall (connected to the Burj Khalifa) and bought a few items that were on sale because of the Dubai Shopping Festival.

We ended the day at a Thai restaurant (Mango) at the Souk Al Bahar which is attached to the mall on the other side of the fountain.
