Merry Christmas

Here's a BBC video that gives a little insight as to what Christmas is like in the UAE.  While I have to disagree with the statement that "people actually feel the spirit of Christmas more in the UAE" than home, it is surprisingly refreshing to see lots of Christmas decorations and wishes of "Merry Christmas" without the compulsory PC obsession that is expected back home.  While we do have decorations, what we really do miss is the festive atmosphere and the time spent with friends and family.  We're definitely looking forward to having R, D & L out here in just over a week!
